As the moon bleeds, and the night is long
the old man asks his apprentice to act
The beginning of his journey through the dark
The first blood of his quest will be tonight

"The portal was opened a year ago
you were not ready, and that's my fault
they grow fast and terrible, ignoring the time of man
now I'm old and weak; I cannot fulfil this task."

The blade, the chain and the morning star
the trinkets, a potion and the old advice

My name is Doom, my voice the spell
My Iron is the sword that cuts your head
By force of will, I will prevail
the wild hunt has just begun.

The hunter arrived at the covenant
he cut his way through the forest of death
the corrupted lair of the witches and the one
was filled with the stench of depraved lust

He slashed some witches and sang the spell
his morning star shining rose the day
his chain bound "The One", and his eyes shone
he didn't fight but spoke the words:

" some of the ones I have engendered, were born
from the mothers of the covenant
be aware of them because they held the power
Of the abyss' warring triad, now let me rest/DIE."
